I liked the studio I went to see in Redwood City today. It's in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile from where I work, and even closer to Caltrain. Everyone seems worried that moving away from San Francisco will ruin my social life, which is sweet but I don't think they realize how little social life I've had my four years in SF. Sure there will be tech meetups I'll want to go to, and if I do I'll have to leave early to catch my train, but all the rest of the time I'll be living in the best climate in America (by government test) and saving myself something like 6 hours of commuting every week. And who knows, maybe I'll buy a car... probably not, but I'll have a parking spot!
